NVIDIA has introduced a stripped-down version of their GeForce GTX 460, the GeForce GTX 460 SE. So, NVIDIA has now three version of the GeForce GTX 460: GeForce GTX 460 with 1 GB, GeForce GTX 460 with 768 MB, and the new GeForce GTX 460 SE with 1 GB.

The GeForce GTX 460 SE has less processors compared to the other two models (288 vs. 336) and lower clock speeds. It works internally at 650 MHz and accesses its memory at 3.4 GHz QDR through a 256-bit interface. As this video card is positioned below the GeForce GTX 460 with 768 MB, it should cost slightly lower than USD 200.

In the table below you can spot the differences between the three GeForce GTX 460 models.
