NVIDIA Announces its First 40-nm GPUs

These chips support DirectX 10.1 and feature GDDR5 memories (some models). On the table below you can see the main specs for the announced GPUs. NVIDIA didn’t say when they will release desktop graphics cards based on 40-nm manufacturing technology. Bear in mind that AMD/ATI has already launched its 40-nm desktop graphics card, the Radeon HD 4770.
