Micron has announced the industry's first SATA-600 SSD series, RealSSD C300. These SSD drives will be available in 1.8” and 2.5” form factors and in 128 GB and 256 GB capacities. The expected maximum transfer rate is 355 MB/s (read) and 215 MB/s (write). According to the manufacturer RealSSD C300 will enter in mass production in Q1 2010.
