| Memory Manufacturers Intros Quad-Channel Kits |

The newest of Intel’s Core i7-300 series of processors, codenamed “Sandy Bridge-E,” support the new quad-channel memory architecture, which quadruples the available memory bandwidth. Patriot, Corsair and G.Skill have already launched their quad-channel memory kits for motherboards using the socket LGA2011 Intel Core i7 processor family.
