This motherboard also breaks the limitation that SLI has to only allow video cards using the same graphics chip, allowing you to install two NVIDIA-based video cards that are based on completely different GPUs. This new MSI motherboard is based on AMD 870 + SB850 chipset, has four DDR3-1600 memory slots, two PCI Express x16 slots, three PCI Express x1 slots, one PCI slot, six SATA-600 ports, one USB 3.0 port, one FireWire port, Gigabit Ethernet, 8-channel audio, and a 12-phase voltage regulator circuit.
