Lian Li Announces the PC-B12 Mid-Tower Case

Lian Li’s PC-B12 is a brushed aluminum, mid-tower case, that has many features to keep noise level down to a minimum, including a vent on the bottom of the case pulling in cool air, a downward facing exhaust baffle, and noise dampening foam on the front and side panels. The front panel of the PC-B12 has no visible vents. Instead of air entering from the front, two 140 mm fans behind the front panel pull in cool air through the 4.7” (12 cm) wide intake vent on the bottom of the case. Four sturdy aluminum feet with rubber bottoms to reduce vibrations give ample room for air to be pulled into the bottom vent. The rear 120 mm exhaust fan has an adjustable downward facing exhaust baffle on the exterior of the case with noise dampening foam that not only bounces the sound waves down, but also directs the hot air towards the floor. The PC-B12 comes with two 5.25” external bays, three 3.5” internal bays, one 2.5” internal bay, eight slots for expansion cards, and two USB 3.0 ports. The case supports video cards up to 14.17 inches (360 mm) long, power supplies up to 9.44 inches (240 mm) long, and CPU coolers up to 6.30 inches (160 mm) tall.
