Intel Confirms Problem with 6 Series Chipsets

The problem, however, do not affect the two SATA-600 ports. Intel has already fixed the problem and will come back to production of the 6 series chipsets by the end of this month. Users who have already bought a motherboard based on the H67 or P67 chipset should contact the vendor to proceed with replacement. This recall should cost USD 1 billion to Intel.
