The highlights of this new series are the use of 25-nm MLC flash memory chips and a proprietary Intel controller. The Intel 320 Series replaces the Intel X25-M Series. The new drives are available in 1.8-inch and 2.5-inch form factors, have SATA-300 interface, and built-in 128-bit encryption.
