Intel is expanding the capacity range for its popular solid-state drive (SSD), the Intel SSD 330 Series, with a new 240 GB model, which joins the already released 60 GB, 120 GB, and 180 GB models. Intel SSD 330 Series drives have SATA-600 interface, use MLC memory chips, and provide maximum read and write speeds of 500 MB/s and 450 MB/s, respectively.
