The 4 TB Deskstar 5K4000 features SATA-600 interface, 32 MB of buffer, and uses Advanced Format, which increases the sector size on HDDs from 512 bytes to 4,096 bytes. It is available with a suggested retail price of USD 399.99. The 4 TB Touro Desk external drive is equipped with one Deskstar 5K4000 drive, has a black, textured body, a USB 3.0 interface, and offers 3 GB of free cloud storage from HitachiBackup.com.
