Today, HP announced three notebooks featuring touchscreen displays: the HP ENVY x2, the HP SpectreXT TouchSmart Ultrabook, and the HP ENVY TouchSmart Ultrabook 4.

The HP ENVY x2 solves the “Do I bring my notebook or tablet?” dilemma. Users get the power of a notebook and the freedom of a tablet in one stylish, lightweight device. The HP ENVY x2 has a detachable, 11.6” touchscreen display that becomes a full tablet when separated from the keyboard via a seamless magnetic latch.

It uses solid state memory for improved reliability and faster startup times, and it comes with an HD webcam on the front and an 8-megapixel camera on the back.
