HP Introduces Z1 All-in-One Workstation

The display of the new HP Z1 Workstation snaps open so users can easily swap out parts and make upgrades without any tools required. Built for computer-aided design, digital media, and entertainment professionals, the HP Z1 is available in a variety of options, including a Core i3-2120 (3.3 GHz, dual-core), a Xeon E3-1245 (3.3 GHz, quad-core) or a Xeon E3-1280 (3.5 GHz, quad-core) CPU, up to 32 GB of DDR3 memory, an NVIDIA Q500M, a Q1000M, a Q3000M or a Q4000M video card, a SATA hard disk drive (250 GB, 300 GB, 500 GB, 600 GB or 1.2 TB) and/or an SSD drive (160 GB or 300 GB) and a DVD +/- RW or a Blu-Ray writer. The computer comes with a Gigabit Ethernet port, support for 802.11a/b/g/n wireless networking and Bluetooth, two USB 3.0 ports, one FireWire port, a 6-in-1 card reader, SRS Premium Sound, dual-cone front-facing stereo speakers, a full HD webcam, and a 400 W power supply (90% efficiency). The new HP Z1 Workstation is expected to be available worldwide in April.
