GlacialTech has announced the Igloo Alaska CPU Cooler, a low-cost product compatible with Intel (sockets 775, 1156, and 1366) and AMD (sockets AM2 and AM3) processors. The new cooler features a copper base, aluminum fins with a hexagonal honeycomb design to reduce air resistance and the noise level, six nickel-plated heatpipes, and a 120-mm fan with speeds ranging from 700 rpm to 1,600 rpm, producing a maximum noise level of 30 dB, and a maximum air flow of 55.7 cfm. There is no word on pricing and availability. click to enlarge
