It comes with Silent-Pipe 3, which combines three Gigabyte proprietary thermal designs: Silent-Pipe II, Silent-Pipe and Screen-Cooling (for entry-level cards). The solution is a natural convection inside the chassis to disperse heat. Utilizing a series of layered long and short fins with trapezoid punches, Silent-Pipe 3 transforms laminar (smooth) air flow into turbulent (rough) air flow inside the heat sink, increasing the heat exchange ratio and enhancing overall thermal performance.
