Named Solo, hard disk drives from this series will be available in 500 GB, 1 TB and 1,5 TB capacities. According to the manufacturer Solo hard drives are able to withstand fires rated up to 1,550° F (815ºC) and can also be submersed in fresh or salt water for 3 days at a depth down to 10 feet (3 m). With three-year warranty, the 500 GB, 1 TB and 1.5 TB ioSafe Solo hard drives will reach the market later this month costing USD 200, USD 250 and USD 350, respectively.
