Computex 2012: Sapphire Releases Radeon HD 7970 with 6 GB and Enters the CPU Cooler Market

The card uses an eight-phase voltage regulator, a 12-layer printed circuit board, and a vapor-chamber cooler. An onboard LED monitors the PCB temperature. According to the company, gamers probably won’t benefit from the extra memory, so they are targeting this video card to high-end content creation workstations.
