These are custom solutions, meaning that it is not AMD that is sponsoring these unique configurations. Each video card uses a LucidLogix LT22102 Hydra 200 chip. The Radeon HD 6970 x2 will have 4 GB GDDR5 (2 GB per chip), with the chips running at the default clock rate of 880 MHz and the memory chips also running at the default clock rate (5.5 GHz).
