CES 2012: New CPU Coolers from Thermaltake

Let’s take a look at them. The Contac 39 is basically a Contac 30 from the same manufacturer with one additional 120 mm fan. It is a mainstream CPU cooler with three 8 mm U-shaped, direct-touch heatpipes and a thermal design power (TDP) of 180 W. The two fans also have PWM control (800 rpm to 2,000 rpm). click to enlarge click to enlarge The Frio Advanced can dissipate up to 230 W and features five 6 mm U-shaped, direct-touch heatpipes and two 120 mm fans with PWM control (800 rpm to 2,000 rpm). click to enlarge click to enlarge The Frio Extreme is a high-end CPU cooler, with a TDP of 250 W, featuring two heatsinks connected by six 6 mm U-shaped, direct-touch heatpipes and two 140 mm fans with PWM control (1,200 rpm to 1,800 rpm). It comes with a controller, with which you can switch between PWM speed control and manual speed control. click to enlarge click to enlarge Thermaltake also released a new series of liquid cooling solution, the Water 2.0, which is comprised of three models: Performer, Pro and Extreme. They are sealed products, meaning the cooler comes pre-assembled and all you need to do is to install it, just like you would install a regular air cooler. The Performer and Pro feature a 120 mm fan. The main difference between the two is the size of the radiator.
