You can turn its light on or off by pressing Esc F10. Also, if you don't use the computer for 3 minuts the backlight goes automatically off. It also has seven multimedia hotkeys, five internet hotkeys and a sleep button. Accordingly to BTC, the lifespan of the backlight is of 3,000 hours and of the keyboard is of  10 million keystrokes.
