But according to AMD, their recently-launched Radeon HD 6990M is the world's fastest mobile GPU, being up to 25% faster than any other announced notebook GPU (a clear reference to the NVIDIA’s GeForce GTX 580M). The new Radeon HD 6990M works internally at 715 MHz, accesses its 2 GB of GDDR5 memory at 3,600 MHz through a 256-bit interface, and features 1120 processors.
