Dell unveils affordable bw laser printers

The new 1710 series is similar to the 1700 family, but uses a smaller form factor and prints up to 27 pages per minute, with up to 1200x1200 resolution. The networked model (1710n) has 16 MB of standard memory and PostScript. Dell offers an optional Wireless Printer Adapter for both products. The machines cost USD 199 (1710) and USD 299 (1710n).
