Based on Intel X58 chipset, this board comes with a 6-phase processor voltage regulator circuit, six DDR3-1600 (24 GB max) sockets, two PCI Express x16 slots, one PCI Express x4 slot, one PCI Express x1 slot, one PCI slot, eight SATA-300 ports (six controlled by the Intel ICH10R southbridge supporting RAID 0, RAID 1, RAID 0+1, RAID 5, JBOD, and two controlled by the JMicron JMB362 chip), two eSATA ports, nine USB 2.0 ports (six on the rear part of the board and three available through adapters), two Firewire ports controlled by VIA VT6308P (one on the rear part of the board and other available through adapter), two Gigabit Ethernet ports (controlled by the Realtek 8111C PCIe chip), 8-channel audio (Realtek ALC 888S-VC codec), POST diagnostics display, clear-CMOS button on the rear part of the board and on-board Power and Reset buttons.
