USB 2.0 interface is limited to transfer up to 480 Mbps (60 MB/s in theory, 48 MB/s in practical terms). For users that need to copy a large amount of data on a regular basis eSATA interface is a better option. OCZ Throttle eSATA flash memory is set to come in 8 GB (OCZESATATHR8G), 16 GB (OCZESATATHR16G) and 32 GB (OCZESATATHR32G) capacities and offer read and write speeds of up to 90 MB/s and 30 MB/s, respectively. This flash memory also features a mini USB 2.0 port that can be used in the case where an eSATA port is not available.
