EPP (Enhanced Performance Profiles) technology allows DDR2 memory modules negotiate with memory controller betters timings and the higher clock under which they can work in order to achieve the best performance. EPP 2.0 technology is an improvement over EPP technology to support DDR3 memory modules. Both technologies work only with NVIDIA chipsets. The following products were launched: DDR2-1066 (EPP) - 5-5-5-15 timings at 1.9V DDR2-1150 (EPP) - 5-5-5-15 timings at 2.1V. DDR3-1600 (EPP 2.0) - 8-7-7-18 timings at 1.8V DDR3-1800 (EPP 2.0) - 8-8-8-24 timings at 1.9V DDR3-2000 (EPP 2.0) - 9-9-9-27 timings at 2.1V.
