HighPoint has launched the RocketRAID 3520 based on the Intel IOP341 I/O Processor. Designed for enterprise servers, the RocketRAID 3520 is a x8 PCI-Express 8 port RAID controller with advance RAID levels (0,1,5, 6,10,50) and features a maximum throughput speeds of over 600MB/s for read and write operations.
The Intel IOP341 I/O processor offers x8 PCI Express upstream link, which enables a better bandwidth. It also includes a high performance multi-ported memory controller to assists in optimizing read and write operations.
