AMD Launches Athlon 64 X2 5000+ “Black Edition”

Athlon 64 X2 5000+ “Black Edition” is a dual-core processor working at 2.6 GHz, featuring dual-channel DDR2 memory controller, 1 MB L2 cache (512 KB per core), 65 W thermal design power and coming with its clock multiplier unlocked. Athlon 64 X2 5000+ Black Edition CPUs cost $136 in 1000-unit quantities (the regular Athlon 64 X2 5000+ costs $125 in 1000-unit quantities).
