The Shader 3.0 compatible chips are aimed at mainstream thin'n'light notebooks and Sony has already agreed to include them in some Vaio models. TurboCache allows the card to share – through the PCI Express interface – the capacity and bandwith of dedicated video memory and dynamically available system memory. The new GPUs also include PureVideo technology, a combination of hardware and software that provides high-definition playback of video content.
