Cache On A Stick

Memory cache module for socket 3 (486 and 5x86) and socket 7 (Pentium and similar CPUs) motherboards. It is important to notice that while the module for 486/5x86 CPUs was a 32-bot module, the module for socket 7 (Pentium and similar CPUs) was a 64-bit one.

This module was available in low-end motherboard were the L2 memory cache (”external cache“) was optional. Without this device the system was very slow.
