Redundand Array of Independent Disks, Level 7

RAID 7 is a trademark of the company Storage Computer Corporation and uses an extra hard disk drive to store parity information. Its main advantage is its high performance, achieved by the use of disk cache. It can be considered a RAID 4 system with disk cache.
