Bytes per second
Transfer rate used in parallel communications. It measures the byte (eight bit groups) quantity that are transfered per second. To convert a given transfer rate in bps (bits per second) to B/s (bytes per second), you should divide the value by eight. To convert a given transfer rate in B/s to bps, you should multiply the value by eight.
For example, 100 bps equals to 12.5 B/s.
