LCC

The integrated circuit terminals are bent down and the IC needs to be installed on the printed circuit board using a socket. Physically it is equal to QFP packaging, but targeted to be installed using a socket and not to be soldered. LCC most common version is PLCC (Plastic Leadless Chip Carrier). Figure 1: LCC packaging.
