Leadless Chip Carrier

Integrated circuit packaging standard where terminals get out of the four sides of the integrated circuit. The integrated circuit terminals are bent down and the IC needs to be installed on the printed circuit board using a socket. Physically it is equal to QFP packaging, but targeted to be installed using a socket and not to be soldered. LCC most common version is PLCC (Plastic Leadless Chip Carrier).
