MultiColor Graphics Array or Memory Controller Gate Array
Video standard released in 1987 by IBM which was integrated on the motherboard of PS/2 models 25 and 30 computers. It had a maximum resolution of 720 x 400 with 256 simultaneous colors. It used its own video monitor, using the same connector used by MDA, CGA and EGA video cards (female 9-pin plug).
