PCI-ISA IDE Accelerator

Name given by Intel to the chipset south bridge chip when this chip is capable of using bus mastering technique to transfer data from the hard disk drive to the RAM memory. Since the very first chipsets aimed to socket 7 motherboards (Intel 430FX) this feature is available.
