| Introduction |
The Xigmatek Loki is a CPU cooler with tower heatsink, three U-shaped heatpipes and a 92 mm fan. Let’s check it out! It is curious that Xigmatek offers a CPU cooler named Thor’s Hammer (which we already tested) and another one named Loki, since in Norse mythology (and in Marvel Comics stories as well) Loki is Thor’s adversary. We cannot understand the point in naming a product after a bad guy. The Loki box is small and simple, as you can see in Figure 1. click to enlarge Figure 1: Package
The box contents are shown in Figure 2: heatsink, fan, manuals, thermal compound, and installation hardware. The cooler came with only one fan, but it comes with the hardware necessary to install a second 92 mm fan. click to enlarge Figure 2: Accessories
Figure 3 shows the Xigmatek Loki heatsink. click to enlarge Figure 3: The Xigmatek Loki heatsink
This cooler is discussed in detail in the following pages.
