This power supply uses a single rail design, so there is nothing to talk about here. It is interesting to note that internally the +12 V wires are divided into five groups (+12V1, +12V2, +12V3, +12V4 and +12V5) and using wires with different colors. So the manufacturer could have a product with five virtual rails if it implemented individual over current protection (OCP) to each set of wires. Let’s now see if this power supply can really deliver 1,000 W. |
