  • Passive heatsinks. This motherboard comes with two fans to be attached on top of the passive heatsinks if you think they are necessary.

  • EPU (Energy Processing Unit), which according to ASUS provides up to 58% power savings when the computer is idle and up to 7% when the computer is working on its maximum performance. This chip is located under the lower right passive heatsink on Figure 7.
  • All capacitors are aluminum solid (see Figures 1 and 7).
  • Use of ferrite coils instead of iron coils on the voltage regulator circuit, which have 25% less power loss.
  • Other smaller features like Q-Connector and overclocking utility.

On Figure 8 you can see all cables, the Q-Connectors and the rear panel plate that come with this motherboard.
