MaxOrb is a new rounded CPU cooler from Thermaltake, manufactured in aluminum, featuring six heat-pipes and also having a speed control knob attached to its body. Let’s take a quick look on it.

MaxOrb fan glows blue when turned on and with its speed control knob you can control its speed between 1,300 and 2,000 rpm. According to Thermaltake, it can push up to 86.5 CFM of air.

As mentioned, this CPU cooler has six heat-pipes, three going to one side and three going to the other side of the cooler, as you can see on Figure 3. It is important to note that these six heat-pipes aren’t connected, even though it looks like there are only three heat-pipes (see Figure 4). The piece of metal that holds the speed control knob holds the tips of the six heat-pipes, not connecting them.
