X2 – The Threat

We ran the demo of the game X2 - The Threat, that is a very heavy game and it represents the graphics complexity of the new generation games. It runs several phases of the game and in the end it presents the average of frames per second generated. We ran the software at three resolutions, 1024x768x32, 1280x1024x32 and 1600x1200x32,  first without any image quality enhancement, and after enhancing image quality, because the performance usually decreases when we enhance image quality. Enhancing image quality consisted in activating antialiasing and shadowing.
