Connecting The Receiver (Cont’d)

Now you need to install the other end of the cable - the mini-jack plug - to the "Line In" input of your sound card. This input usually uses a blue jack. Look at your computer's rear and locate it with the aid of Figure 9.

Just connect the plug on the Line In input (blue jack), as you can see in Figure 10.

Since you will need a pair of speakers to monitor what is being recorded, the final sound card cable installation will look like what we show in Figure 11. The speakers must be connected to the "Speaker Out" output, which uses a green jack.
